HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Burrowing Owl

The burrowing owl is a rather small member of the owl family, reaching only 9 inches in height. Characterized by its long legs, short tail and underground habitation, the burrowing owl is found primarily in the United States and Canada. These brown and white birds hunt by day or by night. They feed on small animals by catching them in their claws and pecking viciously at the victims neck. [BM] {FW}
