There are approximately 37 species of toucan. Easily distinguished by their grossly large bills the toucan looks out of proportion. The colourful beak of the toucan is, in fact, quite light, mostly comprised of air. Being a fruit eater, there seems to be no clear explanation as to why the toucan has such a large bill. MORE!
