Barbet 2
Found in tropical countries, barbets are most predominant in Africa, with smaller
populations in parts of Asia and America. As a forest dweller this bird feeds on fruit,
berries, seeds and the occasional insect. This photograph is taken of the African
Blackcollared Barbet.
