Excellent fliers but poor swimmers, Tropicbirds spend little time
afloat on the water, capturing fish and small sea animals by speed diving from the air.
They are found in the tropical areas of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans, and the Red
and Caribbean Seas.
