Zebra Finch
The zebra finch is one of the most popular cage birds. Having an average length between 3.5
and 4.5 inches, the zebra finch has delicately fashioned plumage. The crown is dark grey,
black and grey barred markings on the neck and throat, brown or orange cheek patches, with
white plumage surrounding the bright orange beak. The male is slightly more colourful than
the female. Now banned from export, the zebra finch is found in Australia.
