White-eye
There are approximately 85 species of white-eyes. Ranging is size from 4 to 5 inches, this
small bird is a popular cage bird. The white-eye has rounded wings, squared tail and a
distinctive white ring of feathers around the eyes. The plumage is usually green or yellow
with grey or yellow on the undersurface. This Cape white-eye is found in Africa. They can be
found throughout the western hemisphere in a wide variety of habitats.
