The waxwing feeds primarily on berries, including holly berries, blackberries and berries from the hawthorn tree. The waxwing has no established migratory pattern. However, large flocks are occasionally observed moving south for the winter. Waxwings are found in North America, Japan, China and eastern Siberia. [BM] {FW}
