HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Nuthatch 2

The nuthatch eats hazelnuts and other nuts in the autumn. By wedging the nut into a crevice and delivering a sharp woodcutter blow to the nut, the nuthatch is able to retrieve the delicacy inside. The nuthatch otherwise feeds on insects. Nuthatches are found in North America, Asia and Europe. [BM] {FW}
