Sorry, No Picture! The honeycreeper or sugarbird is a close relative of the Hawaiian honeycreeper. These two groups of birds make up the honeycreeper family. The sugarbird is a nectar eating bird and has a bristled tongue to collect the liquid sugar. They are small birds, with narrow beaks and are generally quite colourful. The males often have plumage of black, white and blue, while the females are somewhat less vibrant having plumage of black, white and green. Honeycreepers are found sounth of the United States.
