Drongo
There are approximately 20 species of drongo. These birds range in size from 7 to 15 inches
and are predominantly black or grey. They have long, pointed wings and ornate tails, some
with extended teardrop feathers. Feeding on insects, drongos often follow the movement of
larger mammals such as monkeys and deer to eat the insects they disturb. Drongos are found in
the tropical regions of the eastern hemisphere.
