Cuckoo-shrike
The scientific name for the cuckoo-shrike is 'Campenphaididae', which simply means
'caterpillar eater'. This caterpillar eater can be highly beneficial to crops in danger of
infestation. Other favourite foods of the cuckoo-shrike are insects and worms. The
cuckoo-shrike reachs lengths of 14 inches and has black, white and grey plumage. The
cuckoo-shrike is found in the warm regions of Africa, Australia and the Solomon Islands.
