HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Creeper

Sorry, No Picture! The creepesr are a family of small birds named for their foraging abilities. The creeper moves about a tree, slowly spiralling upwards, searching every hole and crevice for insects and larvae to eat. In this way the creeper moves from tree to tree in search of food. Creepers are about the size of the common house sparrow and have plumage decorated with differing shades of brown. The creeper has a sharp, pointed bill and stiff tail feathers (like those of the woodpecker family). The claws of the creeper are long and curved to ensure a solid, vertical assent. Creepers are found in North America, parts of Europe and Asia. [BM] {FW}
