Bishop Bird
Bishop birds belong to the family of weavers. Like other members of the family Ploceidae,
the bishop bird constructs a spherical, woven nest. With dull plumage outside of the
breeding season, the male bishop bird acquires brilliant plumage during the breeding
seasons. Often with brilliant colours of red and yellow the polygamous bishop bird will mate
with up to 6 females. MORE!
