There are 3 species of finfoot. The Finfoot, also commonly called sungrebe, is found in Africa, southeast Asia and in parts of Central and South America. The smallest species is 12 in in length and has green-brown plumage highlighted by white underparts. The Finfoot is a tropical water bird feeding in the morning and evening in shallow waters for small animals. [BM] {FW}
