Vulture 2
Most vultures must wait for the victim to be ripped open by other animals for they are
unable to rip apart tough hide. These vultures, waiting for the lion to finish his meal,
are dependent on his strong claws and teeth to reveal the soft guts. When the lion is
finished the vultures will begin their feast. Vultures often have brown or black plumage
which is sharply contrasted by colourful skin on the neck.
