Golden Eagle
The golden eagle, found throughout the northern hemisphere, is a strong and majestic bird. Soaring with splayed wings, across mountainous terrain, the golden eagle is a hunter. The golden eagle has rich brown plumage, contrasted by yellow on the head. Quite large in size the female may reach 36 inches in length. Golden eagles faithfully defend their territory and are known to attack intruding aircraft with incredible ferocity. [BM] {FW}
