Many species of hornbill have a second peculiar feature: stiff eyelashes. These ornate birds
range in size form 5 in to 15 in. They live in the warm, wet forests of Africa, Asia, the
Solomon Islands and the Philippines. Hornbills feed primarily on
fruit.
