Ibis

The ibis is a medium to large sized wading bird. It is characterized by it's long neck, long, thin legs and long beak. It is easily distinguished from other wading birds by its slightly down-curved beak. There are approximately 25 species of ibis, ranging in colour from pure white to those species which have dark plumage highlighted by iridescent purple and green. MORE! [BM] {FW}
