HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Bittern

Bitterns are members of the heron family. Like the heron, the bittern has a long, pointed beak. The bittern is, however, smaller than the heron and the neck is not as greatly extended. Bitterns have brown plumage which is marked by black and white. The feathers along the neck are long and create a beautiful, silky ruff. Bittern are commonly found in marshy areas. MORE! [BM] {FW}
