Snow Goose
There are approximately 18 species of geese. They are large or moderately large waterfowl.
Found within the Family Anatidae, they more closely resemble swans than ducks. Like swans,
geese mate for life, build their nests on the ground and feed primarily on vegetation.
Shown here is a Snow Goose (Chen caerulescens) in flight.
