There are approximately 600 species of tree frog. They are generally small frogs with sticky, suction cup pads on their fingers and toes. Tree frogs are further characterized by their slender legs and horizontal pupils. Tree frogs more commonly walk then jump. They are most likely to leap awkwardly when they are threatened. [BM] {FW}
