This true frog reaches lengths no greater than 12 cm. Characterized by pale green skin and darker spots this frog is quite attractive. If not seen the low, trilling call can be heard year round. Found in almost any moist habitat, the Rio Grande leopard frog ranges in the southern American states from Arizona to Texas, further south into Mexico. [BM] {AS}
