The Gulf Coast toad is medium sized with a banded pattern running along its skin. Black or brown in colour this toad is highlighted by orange and white. The male captured in this photograph has a yellow throat. The gulf coast toad is most active when night is falling. Prefering a humid environment this species can be found from Missisippi, south into Mexico. [BM] {AS}
