Sorry, No Picture! The firebelly is equipped with two very successful lines of defence. When seen right side up the firebelly has brown, wart marked skin which camouflages well into a muddy environment; when in danger the firebelly throws itself onto its back and exposes bright 'warning colours'. Like the arrow- poison frog, these brilliant colours warn potential predators of their poisonous nature. MORE! [BM] {FW}
