Carpenter Frog
This rather small, brown frog reaches lengths no greater than 7 cm. They are easily recognized by the
4 distinct yellow lines which run down the back. This photograph captures a carpenter frog in a water soaked
sphagnum bog. This is the most common habitat of this water loving frog. When frightened the carpenter frog
leaps into the water and swims below the vegetation.MORE!
