HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Burrowing Toad 2

Sorry, No Picture! Burrowing toads are nocturnal, spending the daylight hours in a small hole it digs in the soft earth. When faced with danger the burrowing toad puffs up with air and stands high on its hindlimbs, slowly moving backwards. Toads are known to react more strongly to danger stimuli. This is perhaps because they are not as successful as frogs at jumping, thus they need a different defence. [BM] {FW}
