The bullfrog is an extremely large amphibian. The adult bullfrog can easily reach 20 cm in length. The bullfrog faces many predators and is dependent on its long, strong legs. The bullfrog is so successful at jumping that contests are held every year to determine new records. Leaps greater than 16 ft have been recorded! This photograph captures a juvenile female bullfrog.
