In natural conditions the bullfrog catches its prey by leaping upon it unsuspectingly. Bullfrogs have a voracious appetite and are even known to eat venomous snakes and low flying swallows. Bullfrogs are green to black and have whitish underparts. They prefer to live in the ponds and slow moving water. They are native to North America, specifically the United States. They have, however, been introduced to Canada, Cuba and Hawaii as well. [BM] {FW}
