American Toad
This large toad, reaching over 11 cm in length, has deep brown to olive green skin. This skin is heavily
marked by warts which often appear in orangish-red colours. The American toad is a common toad found in a variety
of habitats from grassy backyards to mountain forests of eastern United States and Canada.
Where there is some moisture and a plentiful supply
of insects the American toad can be found.
