Small-mouthed Salamander 2
When frightened the small-mouthed salamander will wave its tail back and forth in an upright postion.
With such non-aggression it is fortunate this shy animal spends a great deal of time undercover, where
it is moist and cool. Salamanders are vulnerable to many predators.
