Mudpuppy
The mudpuppy is a square nosed salamander found in ponds, rivers and streams in various parts of
North America. The average length of a mudpuppy is 1 ft. They have dark, slimy skin, small eyes and
short legs. Being a water dwelling amphibian the mudpuppy has fringed gills located just behind the
