Tunicate
Although hard to believe, tunicates are related to mammals, the most highly advanced creatures within the animal kingdom. When tunicates hatch they have rudimentary eyes, tail, mouth, gill slits and gut. The tunicate, however, is unable to survive in this newly hatched state as it lacks an anus and is thus unable to ingest food and pass waste. MORE! [BM] {FW} {ED}
