HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Lancelet

Sorry, No Picture! Lancelets have slender bodies, pointed at each end, no greater than 6cm long. As adults, lancelets are sedentary, spending a great deal of time half buried in sand and gravel at the bottom of the sea. Lancelets feed and breath by passing water through the body. As water passes throught the gill slits oxygen is acquired. Food is extracted from the water as it passes throught the gut. [BM] {RH} {ED}
