Thorny Phasmid (Order Orthoptera Family Phasmatidae)
The Thorny Phasmid, which belongs to the same family as the walkingstick, closely resembles a twig. As nymphs they are brown, turning green with maturity. This photograph, taken in the Cameron Highlands, Malaysia, captures a thorny phasmid in the nymph stage. MORE! [BM] {PF}
