Damselfly
(Order Odonata)
Both dragonflies and damselflies make up the order odonata; together there are 4950 species world
wide. Having many similarities, the primary characteristic of distinction between the dragonfly and
damselfly are their resting wing positions. Damselflies rest with their wings together, above their
body, whereas dragonflies rest their wings open on a horizontal plane. MORE!
