The Comma Butterfly which is also known as the Eurasian Comma is recognized by the white comma or "c" on the underside to the hind wings. These otherwise dark butterflies have scalloped wings, spanning from 4.5 to 6 cm. The Comma Butterfly is a day flying butterfly, habituating temperate forests and lowlands.
