The White Admiral butterfly is a common butterfly found in North and South America. The wingspan is 79 mm., they are a deep brown with wide white stripes crossing the upperside and underside of the wings. The wings are trimmed with delicate blue marks. The White Admiral breeds on both birch and willow trees. The White Admiral on the left of this photograph is accompanied by Eyed Brown Butterflies. [BM] {EB}
