Flower Beetle
(Order Coleoptera Family Scarabaeidae)
In North America the Flower Beetle is relatively small, while some in Africa reach sizes of 4 or 5
inches! Feeding primarily on pollen, the Flower Beetle is often found on flowers. In their larval state
they live burrowed in the ground and are known to do considerable damage to roots. They have small,
simple claws and a flat body.
