Spine
The spine consists of 26 bones which are called
vertebrae. These vertebrae are joined together by
disks made of cartilage, called intervertebral disks.
The disks allow the spine to flex, and provide support
for the neck and trunk. There are three types of
vertebrae: cervical, thoracic, and lumbar vertebrae.
