GALL BLADDER UNDER THE MICROSCOPE
The gall bladder is a pear-shaped organ, found under the liver, which concentrates, stores and later excretes bile into the duodenum. The gallbladder has 3 membranes: the outer serous membrane, the middle muscular membrane, and the inner mucous membrane. The inner membrane secretes mucus and absorbs water. The human gallbladder can hold between 30 and 60ml of fluid. [CG] {NR}
