Connective Tissue
Connective tissue is specialized tissue found in the
body and acts as connections for various
tissues in the body. The different types include:
bone, cartilage and fibrous connective
tissue. Blood is sometimes considered a connective
tissue because it connects tissues by
transporting materials between them. Connective tissue
has a supportive role, involved in storage, transport, and repair.
