Cranium
The cranium or skull is made up of over 20 different
bones. The bones of the cranium are not connected at
birth but over time, the bones fuse together to form
joints called sutures. The cranium holds and protects
the brain, and many of the main sensory organs, such as
the eyes, ears, and nose.
