Swimming Breaststroke
The breaststroke was established
in Great Britain after
the first successful channel swim by Captain Webb in 1875.
The
breaststroke is popular with beginners because they can see
and breath easily. The head is
held above the water while palms
are turned slightly outward. Hands act as paddles and are
pulled
backward. Legs move in a frog like action, pushing you forward with
the help of the
arms. MORE!
