Snorkelling

A snorkel is a tube, usually about a foot (30 cm) long, that extends above the surface of the water, allowing a swimmer to breathe while underwater. Snorkelling is the sport that uses a snorkel. People often snorkel in order to experience marine life whithout the need for special training or expensive equipment. There is no competitive side to this sport. [AM] {NR}
