Pentathlon
An individual competition involving five sports. Specifically:
wrestling,
discus,
javelin, jumping, and running. Since 1912 the summer Olympic Games have
included a
modern
version of this competition: pistol shooting, fencing, swimming, an
equestrian event,
and
cross-country running.
