Judo

The first school of judo was established in 1882 in Japan , by Dr. Jigoro Kano. He gave the sport the name of Kodokan. Dr. Kano had spent most of his life studying martial arts, mainly jujutsu, which consists of a series of fighting techniques that were used often during the fuedal period. Dr. Kano was the president of the faculty of physical education at the University of Tokyo. MORE! [BA] {NR}
