Hurdling Part 2
Originally
participants hurdled by
running toward the obstacle,
jumping and landing on both feet. The modern technique
was
invented by A.C.M. Croome in 1885 and is such that a
specific number of steps are taken
between obstacles.
When jumping the participant has one leg completely
extended straight
ahead, lunging the trunk forward.
