Hockey Part 6
While the player is sitting out his
team
must play short handed; this is called a power play for
the team with the advantage. If
a goal is
scored on the team of the
offender while the offender is sitting out of the game,
the offending player may return. If a more
serious aggressive offense is committed a player
may
sit out for as long as 10 minutes. In such a situation
substitution may be used.
