Hiking
Hiking is a
wonderful
form of recreation as it requires no special
equipment and encourages physical fitness. A
very
passive sport, each individual sets their own pace and
distance. In a half day hike
approximately 11 to 19 km
can be covered, in a full day hike, 19 to 32 km. For
serious
walkers there are services available through
associations, such as The Wilderness Society.
