Commonly known by the trademark Frisbee, the saucer-shaped, plastic, flying disc is a common recreational game. In 1993 a Swedish man set the current world record for throwing a disc nearly 200 metres. The two popular forms of competition that use flying discs are Ultimate Frisbee and disc Golf. [AM] {NR}
